Training Fees: updates
You should have received your fees invoice for 2025 via email. Â鶹ֱ²¥understands that this may be a financially demanding time for many, particularly given the challenges of the current economic climate.

If you are a FÂ鶹ֱ²¥or subspecialty trainee and wish to pay your fees in four-instalments throughout the year, please complete and submit the by 31 January 2025.

Trainees who take Extended Leave or Research Leave may be eligible for a partial reduction or refund of their Annual Training Fee.

Fostering Respect: latest progress report released
Â鶹ֱ²¥has reached the halfway point of its Fostering Respect Action Plan, a four-year project to build more respectful O&G workplaces and training environments.

View the latest progress report for the actions completed to combat bullying, harassment and discrimination.

Trainees can access confidential/anonymous support through the Training Support Unit or can visit our Wellbeing webpage for information on external services.

All APSS forms have now been revised – including the general APSS form, colposcopy, ultrasound A and B and advanced obstetrics ultrasounds. The updated forms can now be accessed on the FÂ鶹ֱ²¥Training and Assessments page.Ìý

FÂ鶹ֱ²¥trainees: Level 4 and 5 trainees
As you may be aware, leniency was offered during the COVID-19 pandemic, largely due to the limited opportunity for trainees to complete APSS and sit oral exams. As the impact of COVID-19 subsides, the progression from Basic to Advanced Training with outstanding Basic Training requirements has been reviewed by the Federal Training Accreditation Committee (TAC). FÂ鶹ֱ²¥trainees: Mini-CEX for Year 1 trainees
The Mini-CEX is commencing in semester 2, 2023 for Year 1 trainees only. This assessment is a short observation of an aspect of clinical practice observed by a consultant or advanced trainee. Observations can take place in various settings and the whole process should take under 20 minutes. Read more.
